Following an artist allows you to receive updates and news in your artist message feed
In order to receive artist updates, you will first need to follow an Artist. This is how you do that
By selecting Artist then Explore All, navigate to the Artist you want to follow. Click on the artist
Click on the follow button to follow that artist
